Default What is result of bouncing off rev limiter occasionally? Damage to car?

I have bounced off the rev limiter 3 times in past 2 weeks. Just held gas down to long in first every time

I hope that I am not causing any damage. Car seems to run fine still..but I worry.

Can anyone put my mind at ease? or am I in for trouble.

No need to worry, the limiter is there so you don't do any damage by over-revving when accelerating.

Just make sure you don't downshift to get the revs over 9200, that could do some damage.
