Yeah I still haven't been able to get mine registered. State inspection was a breeze but stuck with emissions testing. BTW what rear diff do you have? Mine is out of a Miata(3.9). That's why the low top speed.
FYI, opinion here is its best to use the oem Honda oil filter. Its made for 9k rpm flow, and also has a metal crush washer to make sure it doesn't spin loose under all that oil pressure.
Be sure to follow tightening instructions on the filter. An addional 7/8 of a turn after gasket makes contact.
