Default What Oil for S2000

I own a 2002 S2000 and the time has come to change the oil. I was wondering what is the best oil to use and how many litres of oil i am going to need ?

All outlined in the owners manual. 10w30, ~5.2 US quarts is typical.

I use 10w30 Mobile 1 full synthetic. Redline's full synthetic is also some GREAT stuff but goes for almost twice that of mobil 1's.
I also use 5w30 mobile 1 full synthetic in my tranny and i believe 75w90 mobile 1 full syn in my diff. Hope this helps.

You have different products available in Great Britain, so you might want to post this question in you regional forum. I seem to recall your manual recommends you use a 5W-40. A 10W 30 is recommended on this side of the pond, however some of us use a synthetic 0W-30. There are more opinions on this subject than just about any other subject.

If you want more information, check out the Oil Journals at the top of the Under The Hood forum.

Life is simple if you follow Hondas Recs. Your manual suggests the oil and weight for the average car and the average driver.
If you don't consider your driving average, another oil and weight might be for you.
Trust that Honda made a good and educated decision in their choice of oil and weight.

Any name brand 10W30 or 5W40.
5W40 Synthetic is the better of the two.
