Default What kind of stage clutch comes in the ap1 ?

My clutch currently went out and im trying to figure out what kind of flywheel I have , its a stock AP1 . I want to go with a stage 1 clutch and flywheel but I heard that these come with a stage 2 clutch/flywheel and and if I dont buy the flywheel im going to have to get my stock one resurfaced , any recommendations on what I should do ?

You have a Stock OEM AP1 clutch.. if thats what you want replaced then you go to Honda and get and OEM clutch.
If you want a stage clutch search what kind suits your needs.

I would say if you are going to replace it go with he Science of speed sport disc. It is an upgraded clutch and it holds my 410whp but here is the kicker: it feels 100% stock. The pedal feel does not change a bit. More then a few people who have driven my car that have ACT or something like that couldn't believe it was upgraded. its really awesome man. The way I see it, stock feel and drive but able to hold power gains if you ever go that way in the future. Also no need to change AP1 flywheel, its already pretty light. re-surface it when installing new clutch

Ap1 flywheel is pretty light. No reason to change it really. I didn't change mine.
