What is this hole closed to the exhaust manifold?

Default What is this hole closed to the exhaust manifold?
Trying to do some cleaning before putting my cylinder head back but I notice this hole was not in my list... What is it for? Seems there was a screw in there?

Other than a screw used for an aftermarket ETD, it's obsolete.

It's an engine lift point, you attach one corner of a lift chain to that spot, and there is a corresponding one on the passenger side of the engine, that allows you to lift the engine out of the bay with a picker.

YES! This as well...I completely forgot that is one of the points used to lift your engine.
