Default What exactly is a MISFIRE?

This is my second time posting about this problem. I threw a CEL which the scan tool read as misfire's in the cylinders #1,#4, and also a random misfire.

I cleared the code after i recorded the CEL numbers... but about ten miles later, i threw the CEL again. I have not used the scan tool again tonight, but am pretty damn sure its the same problems.

My car only has 59K on it, and i also replaced my spark plugs with the OEM NGK plugs about 5K miles ago.

I just don't know if i sucked something in through my AEM CAI, or my Megan TP w/o2 simulator, had finally threw the first code because of it or what?!?!?!?

Could this be a problem with bad gas...... how bout a problem with faulty COIL PACKS???? My initial guess, was that I fouled my a plug/plugs. after confirming the plugs still looked decent (slightly greyish/whiteish), i got the NASTY feeling that my coil packs could be messed up.

Has anyone heard of coil packs faulting at around 60K miles?!!?!?!? I am no master mechanic, but i would like to believe Honda engineers are a little better than that.

PLEASE.... i need some help/advice/COIL PACKS??? ha... thank you for taking the time to read this-

if you do a search you can find boat loads of info. If its the coil pack, switch on and two and switch 3 and 4. if it is the coil packs your misfire will travel to 2 and 3. It could be also injectors are clogged or in my case it was a valve adjustment that was needed

I threw #3 today and it turned out to be bad plugs, though with only 5k on them it shouldn't be that.
