Default What does this light? stands for?

Hi guys, one day i just looked at the dash board and found this "light" or "component" on my S2000 dash board. It was never lighted. and I can't find it in the user manual. do you guys know what is it?

CR peak power idicator. I've also read that it's the OEM alarm light.

Heard it means your in the sweet spot of the powerband.In a CR.

but then the light there seems to be pointless except that it is good for marketing purposes....

My AP2 is not a CR....

Come ON guys. If you look at the fuel and temp gauges, they're half-circles. Along with the 8k redline, that's not a current AP2 cluster.

The newer AP2s have temp and fuel gauges that complete the outer arc and the "CR Peak Power indicator" is higher up on the gauge cluster.

BTW, the newer AP2s also have the same lower "dot" that the OP is inquiring about. And it's NOT the same as the green PP Indicator. You don't have the factory alarm, do you?

Its the light for the factory alarm - its there whether you have an alarm or not.

Maybe we can hot wire that to shift light or peek power light by rewiring a Modify shift beeper?

yeah i think some people actually have done the shift-beep mod to that light, i like the noise versus visual 'cause i get to keep my eyes on the road...
