Default what Do you think of throttle body spacers?

Was looking at this today Throttle Body Spacer And was wondering if it actually worked? There are actual dynes of civic si untuned getting 5 WHP, and for $50.. thats pretty good. $10 per hp also about the same TQ 4-8 to the wheels. The only way i can see it working is because it increase the plume volume by a couple cu inches about 4. from what i have read. So it can take in some more air and ultimately make more power. I know the whole thing about it spinning the air for better atomization is bs. IS there anyone who has a dyno for the s2k to see if there are any gains to be made? i found this very interesting.

I wouldn't waste the money on one, i think its a gimmick. I have been told buy some old school muscle car guys that it actually does something on a carburated engine. but on the S2000 its not worth the money.
