enjoy.
my only question is how the software know what the baseline (stock) settings are (fuel mixture, VTEC engagement, etc.), unless AEM has already cracked the codes on the stock ECU. this is a device that can be very helpful or very harmful, depending on the person using it. if AEM didn't crack the OE codes, what did they base their current setup on? or do you have to blindly guess?

I would bet they "educatedly" guess. Or hopefully do some testing.
Here's another thread for everyone to follow, on a Prelude board:
http://www.preludeonline.com/showthread.ph...4240#post494240
We're discussing the same thing, though there's about as much (read: as little) info in that thread as there is in this one so far.
I've yet to see anyone running one, but they are relatively new to the scene. Rumor is that it's a repackaged GEMS unit (http://www.gems.co.uk/). Anyone know about them?

Im not saying that they are intentionally holding the product back just to spite me. I do understand business is business. But why say you are going to release something when you probably dont even have the flippin honda program?? Now I may be not 100% correct on whats going on with AEM here... hmm.. I guess I am being selfish when I say that I am holding back from purchasing other things, by waiting for this product, which may....in fact never come out. Now Im sure they will figure something out. And to answer your unnecessary questions as to whether I can tell the future, or if I want a product that is wrong,. my answer is NO to those questions.
Im just a consumer who is tired of waiting. **sigh. But hey ..thats how it goes. I love AEM products and Im not hating on the company. Im just tired of things getting pushed back due to certain methods of product planning.
