Motor mounts is a good one too (that was already mentioned.)

Maybe new starter.

But if you're making the investment on a new engine, I assume its new(ish) coils, plugs, valve springs, seats, etc. Those would all be good to on the engine itself.

Maybe clutch fluid since it would be easy to get to, many people forget about that one.

No way I'll do a tuck, the banjo bolts I mentioned are the same thing as oil jet bolts. Im and em gaskets are for sure. And since I took my header off, I will replace the donut gasket as well. The starter on my old motor is only a couple years old. I've already been practicing drinking beer for years so def gonna have to beer mod. Other things though were mentioned that I hadn't thought about and that's why I made this thread!

I would put in a new ap2 oil pump, 4 hole oil jet bolts, and new or low mile ap2 starter. These are things that are easy to do when the motor is out , but not so easy later down the road. The oil pump will give you some peace of mind compared to a used one. I did this when I replaced my factory f20 last year. While the tranny is off consider doing a new clutch if yours has some miles on it.
Agreed.
LOL definitely the oil pump! I had Inline Pro replace mine when they were doing my build!

But why AP2 oil pump? Wouldn't AP1 oil pump be better since the AP1 revs higher?
