yes the tip of the plug broke off into my cylinder, is gone.
If you chance it now, and 'assume' it's really gone, you might be in for an even bigger disappointment once you carry on. You can't say you weren't warned!

Good luck!

PS: From bad to (way) worse indeed!

That camera looks pretty sick. I'm going to look around and see if they make one with an led light. Good idea with the shaving cream. Will that hurt the cylinder walls at all (any more than what's already been done)? I'm talking about when the piston are traveling with shaving cream instead of oil to lubricate.

The plug tip may be pounded into the piston face.

I got the coil pack in and there weren't enough threads to hold in the spark plug so I got a spark plug tap set that came with the tap and new thread cylinder. Put everything back together and I still hear the clinking noise. It's random, not with every rotation. Sounds like shaking up a paint can but louder and higher pitch.I did a compression test.180, 60, 170, 180 from front towards the windshield. I'm going to change the oil. See if there's still a compression problem and check for metal shards and then I might just buy a beater and then rebuild the whole motor myself. That would be a fun winter project. This is assuming the plug tip didn't blow through the cylinder wall.

Not at all. Shaving cream is basically a soap and moisturizer. I would just spray CRC or WD40 into the cylinder and run without a plug ( and injector disconnected) on the cylinder for a few seconds before putting the plug into the cylinder.
