What do exhaust leaks cause?

I'm shocked at that dyno graph. I'd imagine the exhaust leaks had to be pretty bad.
As stated above, I'd think an exaust shop should have the gasket. You could also try Napa. I know one came with the Megan TP I bought. If all else fails, you could try contacting them.

Wow, thanks for the dyno graph. I'm going to really have to make sure there are zero leaks before getting tuned hopefully next week.
Looks like from what it should have gained the exhaust leak lost somewhere around 20 hp. Thats nuts.
Do those plastic silicone gasket maker stuff work with exhaust? That is what the shop used for gaskets without me knowing until I got home. I would doubt those are so great with lots of hot exhaust gases running through them all the time.

...I am mostly wondering what the negative effects of an exhaust leak are. Will it rob power? Make the car run worse? What?

why not get someone to rev the car while standing by wherever you think the exhaust system is leaking. It should sound almost like a farting noise. Gasket maker will melt and blow out at the motor, but will survive around the cat and bottom of the header!

I had a leak - watching my AFR you could see an occasional 1 point fluctuation, which I'm sure the ECU would try to adjust out. So the point is it can't be good for power or mpgs.

exhaust leak can also effect you MPG thats only if the leak is before the 02 sensor... if its a big leak you would feel and hear it. You can use copper seal and spray it on the gaskets real good stuff seals good. You can check to see if you got leaks by looking around the exhaust connections to see if there are black spots made from the exhaust venting out. Copper gasket sealer is supposed to be better at transfering heat. you can get it at your local auto part store
