what could be the problem? can anyone to help..
when i first bought my s2000 in the summer of 2007, i dog it out and felt the vtech and redline fuel cutoff. then in october of 2007 i bought a alarm system and was put on by the shop that i bought the alarm system from. i haven't dog it since then assuming everything was good. this past friday (feb. 15,2008) i decided to take it up to redline but my car would only bog at 7000 rpm. i don't know what is the problem. there's no code signal shown in my cluster nor giving me any driving problem. only when i try to take it up to redline. even does the vtech not work. what should i do. im thinking about talking to the shop and see if they did anything to it but has anyone had this problem before. let me know... thanks
THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR INPUTS. HIGHLY APPRECIATED. I FOUND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. I JUST HAD TO GET MY TEMP. UP TO THE REQUIRED TEMP. THANKS AGAIN. LETHALS2000[COLOR=red]

Was the car fully warmed up? If you try to VTEC before the cluster reads 3 bars on the temperature gauge the car will not allow you to enter VTEC.
It makes an awful noise that makes your cringe too, but its no harm to the car.

Dogs should be fed twice a day and always have water on hand.
