1. What are the causes of engine dieseling?
2. What is the RPM at idle?

Note: the car don't have air pump no catalytic. The engine use for racing car.

Yes...keeps running after I turned off.
Maybe because the idle is too high (3000rpm)? I don't know why. I did not touch the idle arm or linkage or adjust the nut (idle adjustment). The idle adjustment is original, never been touch...but hi idle.

im not quite sure but i recall that having too much carbon deposits in your cylinders could be a cause...

Mine usually idles around 2500 while cold.. and about 800-1000 once its warmed up...

So you pull the key out of the car and it keeps running? You have a serious ECU/ Electrical problem. The fuel pump should cut off and the spark should cut immediately. As far as the idle being high, check for vacuum leaks. Is this car stock, or is it on a stand-alone management system?

Did this just start happening out of the blue, or did you just install a mod, or change something?

i think what it means is that the motor still turns several times after the key is taken out.. not running long enough where you can drive off..

Dieseling used to happen to some carbureted cars when they got hot. On those cars you turned off the ignition and the spark stopped but fuel is still being pulled into the engine until the engine stopped turning. Built-up carbon could get hot enough to ignite the fuel thus keeping the engine running.
On fuel injected cars the fuel injectors and spark stop when you turn off the ignition so there is no fuel available to let the engine diesel. The only way I can think of a fuel injected engine dieseling is if an injector or two are leaking badly.
