Long story short, I had a bent valve and some work done to my cylinder head which was repairable. Anywho, ever since i got my car back, I noticed that at any given speed, my RPMs is lower than it should be. For instance, driving in 6th gear, 75 MPH, my RPM would be at 4k, which doesn't seem right IMO. If memory serves me correctly, at 4.1k RPM in 6th gear, i should be at around 70MPH, not 75 MPH. What can be causing this? My tires are the same and the gearing is the same? Also, in order to change the gearing, I assume someone would have to actually replace the actual gears with new one, its not something that can be done electronically correct? Could my RPMs be displaying itself incorrectly or maybe my MPH? Just concerned that if i'm in VTEC that my RPMs are actually higher than it actually is displaying and I might end up damaging a valve, etc.

4K RPM in 6th gear looks to be almost exactly 75mph.
