What brand gauges are the best for a turbo applic.
I've pretty much made up my mind on greddy gauges, but is there any reason why i shouldn't go ahead and buy them?? Anyone who actually makes better gauges? I here alot about autometer, how are they? Also, does anyone make a gauge pod besides SOS, i just don't like the lines of it. Thnx,
Brandon

Greddy gauges are great for turbo apps, personally though if I was going to get gauges I would look into the digital ones Rick sells with the door he sells. Here's the link http://www.ricks2k.com/products/gaugeset.html

The Cobalt are nice and not as expensive as the Greddy or the DEFI, but the more expensive have other features, peak hold, etc. Those are the best money can buy; easy like $300 per gauge. However, you are paying for the name. Autometer makes the best gauge for the money. It comes down to what you really need and what you want to spend.

I was going to get the GReddy 60mm gauges with orange background with an SOS pod but I've changed my mind. I am going to get SPA Technique dual readout digital gauges. There are two readings per gauge, each gauge has the ability to light up red, green or regular, and warning levels can be set. They appeared in the latest issue of European Car on the project M3 that is always in there in the back. They can be found at spatechnique.com. This way, I can have 4 readouts on only 2 gauges (you can pick any combination of anything, boost, oil press, egt ect ect ect) and put them ibn the radio door. just an idea

It all depends on what you want. Do you want gauges to just look at or do you want something with peek hold so you don't have to pay attention while you race to those gauges and can check them later. If so go with Apex or HKS. If money is no object get the Defi system. I hear they are the best, but cost alot. Me, I am going to be running HKS gauges with memory. I just need to get some more money.
