Default What brakes DONT squeal

Hey guys, I need to know if anybody can tell me what decent pads that wont squeal under everyday driving but have a better pedal feel than stock. I DO race auto-X and make frequent runs to Deal's Gap. I have run the AXXIS ultimates and love them and will use them for the gap BUT i want a pad that will do ok at auto-X and not squeal on the street. Thanks in advance.

Check out Porterfield R4-S pads. I haven't used them yet, but am supposed to do some tests on them soon. They should be perfect for what you're looking for.

Stock pads work fine for autox. You use them maybe a minute max (and no high speeds), thats not enough time to enduce very much, if any, brake fade.

They don't squeak as well.

I have had the R4-S pads for over 5000 miles. I have had people tell me "they don't squeal" and tell me they squeal for only the first few hundred miles.

THEY SQUEAL quite badly until they are warmed completely up and it hasn't gotten better at all. I say I have to agree with the other poster who recommended changing pads.

Take care.

Track pads squeal.

You need to swap pads from street to track.
