thanks. that's what i thought. i removed the canister on two of my bikes. do people just leave them on the S2k or do a emission delete mod?

You can't remove it without a aftermarket ecm. My question would be why would you want to though? There is little if any performance upgrade from pulling it, and it provides a useful function.

That box keeps our environment cleaner by storing fuel vapors. This way we burn them instead of breathing them
