what is the best way to lower the perch on koni yellows??
i want to lower the perches on my konis (on stock springs) and was wondering how....
do you need to re-and-re the install?
or can you some how jack up the car and lower the perches??
any advice would be appreciated - thanks.

Actually, it might not require complete removal. Here is what you do:
Jack up the car and place on 4 Jackstands.
Take off all 4 wheel/tires.
With suspension unloaded see if the spring is not loaded (if the Koni Perch you have on now is lower than OEM, and the spring is completely unloaded then you could possibly reseat the perch on a lower level and the just lower the spring back on.
If you do not have a loose spring, then you should remove the shock/spring assebly and use a spring compressor to be safe.

tube,
even though the suspension wouldn't be loaded by the weight of the car (using your method), the springs ARE compressed/pre-loaded onto the shock during install...
thanks for your input.

I would remove the shock from the car, but I wouldn't take the spring off the shock. I would try compressing the spring on the shock and adjusting the perch clip.

Good point,
Perhaps if you have a buddy stand on the brake assembly it will be enough weight to unload the suspension so you can adjust the perch.

When I moved mine to the lower perch, I removed the whole shock and spring and then moved it. It is pretty simple, I did the whole job in less than 2 hrs. It is much less involved than the initial install of the koni's.
