Default Werid Clutch Feeling

Hey guys recently my clutch has been acting up. I have an ACT PP with OEM disc and throwout bearing. It felt fine for say the first 500-700 miles and then after it was dynoed it started acting up, has a little over 1k miles on it now. It feels like there is sand or something in the pedal when pushed in, only after driving it and it gets hot. It doesn't stay either from day to day, only after driving for say 20-30 min and stays that weird feeling until the car cools down. The pedal squeaks if you slowly press it in, so slow you would never shift like this while driving we found this out while the car was off. The weird feeling stays even with the car off but not as bad of a feeling. Everything works fine no problems shifting into any gear. We have taken the slave off and checked for the nipple, it had a slight one forming and we shaved it off and regressed it with the fork and took it out again and it still feels off. I have has the nipple form on me before when I had a whole ACT clutch and it felt like that but that feeling wouldn't go away from day to day. The slave has been sanded down at least 3 times now, one right after I got the car the 2nd after I got the ACT clutch and now. It has had about 3 bleeds in the past 2 months, prior to the bleed the fluid was pretty black and the master cylinder was leaking.

Any insight what the problem could be?
Was thinking of buying a new master and slave cylinder, the technician that installed it has done many s2k clutches so i'm pretty confident the install was done properly.
Car has 86k miles on it

Thanks
Craig

Update:

Hey guys just wanted to report back.

We replaced the master cylinder, and checked the slave and deemed it good enough to not need replacing. Also greased the fork the best we could without dropping the trans.
The feeling has gone away. Hard to say exactly which one it was, maybe a little of both.

If anyone is curious I bought this master cylinder http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o04_s00

Says it was a genuine Honda part it came in an Adler box, and it was a Nissin part. It was identical minus the part that bolts up to the clutch pedal was black instead of gold/bronze.
Paid $69 for it, was a brand new part not reman very happy with it.
Part number 46920-S2A-003

Thanks, wanted to see if someone had some insight before buying new cylinders. Hopefully this will fix it, I'll post back in a week or so once I get new ones.

Did you grease the splines when you did the clutch? What grease did you use?

It's not just the nipple you have file away, you also have to lube the slave piston shaft itself.

I don't know what grease was used, as I didn't do it but I can find out.

Same, if not the Mc or sc then some didn't grade or use the right grade on the splines.

The spline barely needs grease, the guide sleeve that's another matter entirely, it's normal practice to pack grease in the little channel on the release bearing this is usually enough grease to prevent a rough clutch pedal. If they forgot to do this, you can try to slip some grease on the guide and move the clutch bearing back and forth.
