My car is currently riding on the OEM rims (until next week that is ) with tires that are larger in diameter vs. stock if that might have anything to do with it.

Isn't the idea of a light weight flywheel is so the revs can spin up faster? So wouldn't it be logical to think the revs would also spin DOWN faster too?

With larger diameter tires, your speedo error would be less than if you had stock tires. ie, your 4.44 gear ratio would be somewhat "lessoned". So your situation is a bit odd, but not significantly so.

Hasib,

FYI....s2ktech IS Shane from Weseloh. He worked on my car too. He did a great job replacing my new engine. I think of all dealerships...Weseloh is the most honest and trustworthy dealership in So cal.

A lightweight flywheel will make your rpm drop faster. This is because there is less rotating weight so it takes less time to slow down. That would explain why you feel the rpm's dropping more. The rpms may go up quicker/help in acceleration but the car will also decelerate quicker as well. I would have figured most of you knew that.
