I was not kidding, the lower arm is bent. You just can't see it. The can be aligned even with a bent arm, however the geometry was changed as the corner moves up and down. This was not a guess, I would bet money on it. I have seen this first hand. Unless the alignment is on the outside of the adjustment range, you may never know.
I have seen a few cars with less visable damage then yours have the same exact problem. The arm was bent. But even side by side, new arm and bent arm, you could not tell. Only after it was installed, you could see it in the specs and feel it by driving.

i was quite surprised how well the car faired out of this accident too. i thought i wouldnt be able to drive it home. suprisingly when i came in, nothing was leaking or snapped so i was actually able to drive it some more.
