With the various connections and chambers between the manifold and tailpipe, there has to be many opportunities for many different sound shapings. There are so many in fact that I doubt that any S sounds like any other S. Small differences are there, we just never notice them.

My '07 makes the same sound periodically. I kind of like the sound of it. I wouldn't worry about it.
