mine does the exact same thing. i thought it was normal. even tho the ac light is on, i can FEEL the ac stopping because my throttle response returns.

My car blows cold for a couple of minutes then warm air for a few seconds the a return to cold. This might be normal but my warranty expires on the 7th so I'm taking my car into the dealer tomorrow and let them check it. At minimum, I'll have documented the problem if it is a problem and possibly have it covored out of warranty for a while.

Just so that Nick doesn't have to post again, these symptoms are consistent with the system freezing up. Take it to a reputable A/C shop and have it diagnosed. With the proper set of guages, the technician will be able to tell you what's wrong. If you're low on freon, they will want to locate the leak, seal it and then recharge your system so that it functions properly.
