Default Weird Popping Noise

Whenever I stop completely I hear a single pop noise that sounds like it is coming from the front of the car. This happens each time that I stop when I slow to about 2-5 mph. The car drives and feels fine. I am just wondering what could be making this noise. If it was the brakes I would think that it would make the noise when decelerating with some brake and not just stopping.

I am confused about this problem.

Has anyone heard of this?

Only when I am stopping completely. It seems to occur at around 2-5mph.

My car was making a pop under similar circumstances, although it also popped when doing a low speed, large input turn -- like turning into a parking spot. In my case, it was the rearmost alignment bolts on the front lower control arms. The heads of the bolts face the ground. After tightening those, my popping noise stopped.
