I have this whistling noise under my car around the transmission area but I'm pretty sure it's not the transmission since its drives and shifts perfectly and Im like 90% sure it's the output shaft bearings and all the forums I've read about it explains my problem just that all the forums are old and the person that made it don't reply probably don't even log in and my main question is does anyone know the part number for this item and it's a 2001 s2k and thanks for looking

I have a whine (not a whistle) and think it's the rear gearbox bearing too. I'm buying a second hand low mileage gearbox and swapping it over with a mate
