Default Weird noise from the rear , need advice .

I hear a weird noise whenever I'm going 80+ , past 6krpm and full throttle . I took it to Honda but they wouldn't test drive the car because it only happens at higher speeds . So I figured , I was going to end up fixing it but want to know where to start ! I just changed the inner CV joint and that got rid of the vibration but this is total different problem . If anyone is experiencing the same problem please let me know how you fixed it . If I'm just accelerating slowly past 80 no noise , but once I push the throttle all the way past 6k , I star hearing it . I hear it more in 4th and 5th between 6-9krpm. Thanks in advance.

I went and got my wheels balanced , checked to see if my exhaust was rubbing against anything under heavy load , came out negative . Went back on the freeway , the noise was still there !

I just noticed you have the 4.44 gears. How long have you had them in? Do you completely trust the guy who put them in? Your situation might also mean that the gears "could" be out of spec. If they were not put in exactly within tolerances, wear and tear would easily put them way out of spec and one might see what you are experiencing. Also, did you do a diff fluid change within about 1000 miles of the gear work? And did you break them in for about 500 miles without "ripping" into it?
ps. After a "normal" drive, do you notice that the pumpkin is too hot to touch with your bare hands?
