I wish I could help you but I'm just as lost as you are...my Prelude before did that once to me, but that was because I had a bad clutch and the RPM range was running too low eventually shutting the car down.
Hope you find out whats causing this.

yeah but this buzzing definately doesn't sound normal or can someone back him up? I can feel the vibration the most at the clutch pedal which I think is kinda weird since its not connected to the tranny, the shifter doesn't vibrate at all

There was a part that is directly connected to the tranny inside the cabin (If I recall correctly). I think its the shifter (don't quote me on that) but maybe thats whats causing the buzz?...

No, I honestly don't believe its the shifter, it sounds like its right beside your foot under the car. Hey GB I was told to get a magnetic drain plug for your tranny, install it drive around for a day or two then check to see if there is any shavings on the plug then you have some sort of base to go from

common noise. nothing is wrong
Buzzing From the Engine or Transmission While Decelerating
(Supersedes 00-054, dated March 20, 2001)
SYMPTOM
While decelerating in 3rd or 2nd gear, a buzzing or
rattling comes from the engine or transmission
between 4,000 and 3,000 rpm. This noise sounds
similar to a heat shield rattle, and it goes away if you
press lightly on the accelerator pedal or disengage the
clutch.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Gear backlash in the transmission.
BACKGROUND
Clearance between transmission gears (backlash) is
normal and sometimes audible. In an S2000, this noise
is more noticeable since the transmission is between
the seats instead of up front in the engine
compartment. When the vehicle decelerates, its
weight, together with the pulses from the engine,
excites the transmission gears, causing them to buzz
or rattle.
The four springs in the clutch disc hub act as a damper.
The clutch disc listed in this service bulletin is an
improved version of the countermeasured disc
released a year ago. Extensive testing has shown it to
be quieter than any previous S2000 clutch discs.
If your customer had the previous clutch disc installed
but still complains of deceleration noise, install the
clutch disc listed in this service bulletin.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the clutch disc with the improved clutch disc.

Depending on how bad the TSB054 buzz is, I might disagree that nothing's wrong. Somehow, "your car sounds like shit but that's common for Hondas" didn't cut it with me. Put in a new OEM disk and you'll enjoy owning the car again.
