Question WeIrD noise coming from the rear....

It just happened last night...I just got done messing around w/ a car and being lil hard on the brakes... . Now I have this meticallc noise coming from the rear. I think it might be the brakes but they seem to have lots of life in them when I looked though. around 25-30 is when it's at its highest pitch. Its like theres one spot on my rotor so when it rotating it's off n on meticallc rubbing noise. I lifted up the rear of my car and still makes the noise on one spot of the rotation of the wheel. I believe it's also more pronounced when I turn. Please if anyone has a idea what it is??

Sounds like your break wear indicator is kicking in.

Try to take the wheel off, and visually inspect the life left on the pad. Or, perhaps take a picture, and I can give you my input.

Visual inspection is your cheapest rout right now. If it is really how you describe it, $50 pads from the stealership

Yea, then I am 90% at thinking its the pads then. Does it sounds like a circular noise? like its going with the speed of the rotor?
