Default Weird noise

im not sure if this is the right place to ask this...mod feel free to move if i posted in the wrong forum....last night i was driving on the highway and had to run over some debris or somethin, since i was surrounded by cars on both side and couldnt avoid it....after about ten mins i started to hear this noise comin from what seems like the drivers side rear...it sounded like metal very lightly scrappin against metal... at first it only happened when i would turn but i noticed this mornin that it seems to do it every now and then whether im goin in a straight line or turnin....i cant seem to figure out what exactly it is..... and im not sure if its serious or not....the next day it didnt make the noise in the morning but did it on the way home from work....

anyone have and idea of what it might be....like i said ^^^^it happens very randomly...
any all help is appreciated!!

I'm thinking part of the debris or whatever you went over might still be in under the car. I'd lie down on the ground and check as much as I can on the under carriage. You should be able to see if anything is stuck in there. Else, jack up the rear driver side wheel and remove it. Check if anything got stuck in the suspension and arm components.

^^ Your brake pads are not on their last one right? Maybe its a coincidence. The pads will start to make noise at random when they are almost metal to metal. Double check these. You don't need to remove the wheels for this.
