Weird clunk from front sway bar hitting shock I think
I've had a clunk from my front left ever since I changed my front shocks to buddy club shocks. It feels like that shock is solid and not moving. When I hit a big bump it hits and clunks
I think it's from the sway bar hitting the shock. I feel that it's really close. Does this happen to anyone.
Any suggestions

Happened to me but with my Saner sway bar end links. Not sure if it would have happened with my stock end links. I ended up switching to lower profile end links from McMaster Carr. This was with Buddy Club N+ coilovers as well.

I just find it strange that the end link is this close on the stock sway. The shock is bigger but I don't think its that much bigger
It's also weird that its only on driver side. I will remove the sway and give it a test drive to double check

Is this an OEM swaybar? If it's aftermarket do you have the lateral movement clamps installed? Obviously look at the shock to see if there is any wear.
I'd also double check the shock installation. The top hats may not be properly tightened down, and allowing the shock to move a bit when going over bumps.

if its your endlink hitting youd notice a mark on the shocks. is the spring secured? maybe its clunking from a bump due to the spring being dislodged at droop. jack the car up and make sure the springs are tight at full droop.

I think it's deffinatly the sway bar link. The spring is preloaded fine and the mounts are tight
It's a stock sway bar with the oem lateral clamps. Not sure why it would move over. The passenger side has more clearance but not by much

Ok so I took off the sway bar link and the noise is gone. Car rides good on that corner again. The link has some nicks where it was rubbing
The sway bar link might be installed wrong as it's directional. You can install it the wrong way and it doesn't line up the same way. I will try to install it tonight.
