It's definitely the rear spindle/axle nuts:
tools needed
36mm socket
long pipe (at least 3ft long)
breaker bar for socket
a torque wrench capable of 220llbs of torque (can be 'borrowed' from local auto store, i got mine from Autozone)
axle nut Part # 90305-SD4-003 <-- at my local dealership they are $2.83 each

When you are looking at the axle and nut, you'll see that the axle has a notch and that the nut has been bent ("staked?") such that the nut cannot rotate and loosen. As such, you need to bend the original nut in order to remove it, then after appropriate torque achieved, you stake the new one. A bit of grease where the nut touches the knuckle can assure good torque. Getting the old one off can be a bitch (mine have been on 8 years and 110K miles).
FYI - Honda of Stevens Creek quoted $170-180 for this. The nuts are less than $10 and about $8 for the socket at Sears.

170-180 is completely unreasonable. WAY too much, even by dealer standards.
it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes, <20 if you already have the centercaps off and the car on the floor.

Undo nut
separate hub/knuckle assembly from lower ball joint
remove the splined driveshaft/axle from hub/knuckle assembly
Put grease on splines (driveshaft/axle)
Put driveshaft/axle back into hub/knuckle assembly
put together hub/knuckle assembly to lower ball joint
install brand new nut on drivshaft/axle
tighten brand new nut to 180-200 foot pounds of torque
Make sure all wheels are fastened

Hi all,
I have some noise from the driver side rear wheel.
It sounds like what everyone has discussed in this thread.
