We never saw the upper starter bolt!!!
Actually we saw the bolt, but we never saw where it came from! More on this later.
I must give out hearty thank yous to cdelena, The Reverend, cmnsnse, krazik, and everyone who contributed to this very informative thread...

Even more praise to cdelena, who fielded my PMs, a few even during my install!
The job took a day and a half. We were very methodical and careful.
Here's the story.
This clutch disc has 60,000 miles on it. Yes, it is the original disc from my 2000 S #854.
My original flywheel
and pressure plate
And now.... the replacements!
OEM FW, Clutch, and Mugen PP. This setup shifts like butta'!
I don't have time right now to provide the particulars. I just wanted to post and thank everyone, especially cdelena, for the great information available in UTH!
I'll be back tonight with more information. After we put everything back together, the car started immediately! Not bad for an oboist and bassoonist, eh?
See the jack stand
Regards,
James
