Does anyone know if the impellers are metal or plastic? I know some BMWs have plastic impellers and those would fall apart over time.

I just changed my water pump this last weekend. OEM pump has metal impellers.

I just removed mine. Metal impellors. Never seen a cleaner water pump.

Back to the drawing board.

are your fans going on? Did you install a Honda thermostat?
get a thermometer and put it in the rad let the car warm up, feel the lower hose and tell me what temperature does the coolant start to flow, and what temp the fans go on

Yes, fans kick in at 90 degrees C. And yes, Honda thermostat.

I have the AEM EMS and Serial Gauge so I can see the temp directly. But in the garage, just sitting there idling the bottom hose never seems to even get warm. Top gets hot.

And just as a side note, I had the cooling system pressure tested the other day. It passed. I then went for a drive around the block a few times. It seemed to control the temp around the high 80s then low 90s. But as I put it into the garage I noticed the temp was climbing quite quickly and got to 97 before I shut off.

your lower hose has to hot. maybe you got a defective thermostat. Another thing to check is the rad, drain a bit of coolant and look and the tubes via the cap hole are the tubes nice and clean? both hoses should be hot, at idle. If not your coolant is not flowing

I am using the lines for the oil cooler/warmer. I just extended them up to the turbo.

But, it has been like that for 2.5 years now.
