Water Leak in Trunk

Water Leak in Trunk
I have a leak in the trunk, with water collecting in the well where the tools usually are. Water is actively dripping from behind the metal rectangular piece that mounts the fuel hose. The water lands onto the wiring harness pictured and pools up. Water has also collected on the other side of the car as well. Currently, the car is parked on level ground. The soft top has just been replaced by 2poor2mod, and the drains cleaned. I will try to get a closer look later, but for the time being I welcome any thoughts or experience from people who have had leaks from this area.

Drains cleaned and new top eh?
Put the top up, have a friendly helper gently pour water on the top. Start at one corner. Stick your head in the trunk with a flashlight, find the exact area and confirm it's coming from the top.
Also look under the car and confirm it's draining from the respective drains on both sides, no hidden clogs.
Is water coming from the top? Then it might be your rain rain installed incorrectly on your top re-install (e.g. my ordeal at https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-un.../#post24411312 )
Is it water NOT coming from your top? It might be coming from the painted plastic trim piece next to your trunk that hides the quarter panel body seam (e.g. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-bo.../#post24188334) -- I had a leak here years ago and some silicone sealant on the body seams fixed it as well.
