Water leak on passenger footwell
There is a leak on the passenger side and its coming from under the dash only when it rains, has this Happened to anyone ?
Attached is a picture showing the unit underneath of the dash on the passenger side. Water is coming from the location circled in the picture. At first i thought it was the soft top latch so i replaced it; but that didnt help any.

Could be top leak that trickles down to dash before dripping onto floor.
On a dry day, have someone sit inside while you use hose to find leak. Start low, work high. Make sure to go slow, so you don't mistake a delay in a low spot for a leak in a high spot.
Start with cowl area, by wipers. See then move up to bottom of windshield, then up windshield to top seal.

Check the drain hose for the air conditioning. Occasionally, it gets plugged, and then the condensation overflows into the passenger footwell. When the drain hose is working, you'll get a puddle under the car on the passenger side just behind the front wheel when you park after driving with the A/C on.
I won't say it's a common problem, but it does happen from time to time.

But it happens only when it rains. Unless he only uses A/C in the rain. This is still worth checking, but only after ruling out an outside water leak.

bump, picture added.
Car Analogy, that isn't the same problem as what im facing. The drip is coming directly below the dash on the passenger side ONLY when its raining (so that rules out the kink in the condenser hose).

So I took my passenger seat out today and it was also soaking wet underneath the seat as well as the foot area. I pulled up the carpet and saw 3 holes with rust around them. Thinking they are the problem I went to pick up some JB weld and sealed all three. Hopefully this was the problem.
Here's the area with the foam mat,
Here's the area with the foam mat lifted, (I put the screw in the hole to the right it wasn't there originally)
Can anybody that's ever pulled up their carpet under the passenger footwell confirm whether or not those three holes are supposed to be there?
