I did just what jschmidt did tonight. Well out of gear that is. I live on a slight hill so I was able to coast all the way down the hill. I felt nothing really at all. Guess they are not warped. I do have a shaking problem on acceleration in 1st and 2nd. So this could also be a relation to my issues.

This is my take. Turn your rotors once and change the pads. If you still have some vibrations, replace the rotors. Now this is the key (and I just did this), replace your stock rotors with cryro slotted rotors (deep freeze). The warpping comes from high tempertures and cryro rotors resist heat very well. You want gas slotted only due to the fact cross drilling weakens the rotors. If you need more stopping ability, go to porterfield R4-S for street driving. The car will stop in the dime .

The bad thing about this, the cryro slotted rotors for front and rear are in the neighborhood of $800, but its' worth it to stop. Good Luck and happy speeding
