Warm start restart
Hey guys, I'm wondering if I'm the only one that as a warm start delay starting up. Whenever I go to get gas, I turn the car off and fill up. When I go to start up, it drags out as if it's trying to start(dimming lights) and then after some time finally starts. Can someone point me in the right direction, I am mechanically inclined but never ran into something like this. Plugs(NGK copper) and battery(OEM)are fairly new. Cold starts are a breeze no problem at all. Thanks-Justin

Sounds like a fueling / vapor lock scenario. Does it help to turn the key on and wait, then try cranking?
Also, it could just be an issue with the weather and winter-blend gas

The only thing that helps is alittle patting of the throttle, before I start I usually wait until the gauge cluster does its thing, then I start up

My battery is fairly new, its OEM also. I check connections and they all are good. One of my friends kicked around the idea of it being heat soak because the engine is still giving off heat in the engine bay, and because the car is stationary there's not much air circulation under the hood blah blah blah...The issue is not annoying me yet, just seeing if anyone else has a similar situation. Cold winter starts I do get the starter scream, but never an issue with cold start ups...only warm starts
