Just buy a big bottle of NAAWS! just run lots of naaws (not to be confused with NOS) and you will be in the 12's. that way you can save the 10k for the new diff you are going to buy after your third good launch if the transmission holds out that long.

Speed, Reliablity, Price. Pick 2.

Don't mind Tom, he's is being serious. We have one of the only drag S2000's on the planet and it's a total pile of shit. I'd send you a picture but it's really not that pretty anymore. If you want to be fast like this you need to start making huge sacrifices. I think that maybe just getting a 04 (diff) carrier and having Comptech do their magic, then getting the 4.57s installed, might be all the "driveline" stuff you're going to need. Oh, wait. Axles too. Ok, then just get the AEM EMS, Hondata lower compression head gasket, monster injectors, and spray NOS like crazy. I'm sure you'll be quick. And chances are that your motor might hold together, assuming that I'm not forgetting anything important… (anyone?)

Any other "non" nitrous setup is going to put you right where everyone else like me is sitting. And that way more than 10K. Just time yourself: one year on the bottle and then "sell the car" no matter what.

Oh yeah, and "Good luck with all that"

ya if u want reliable forced inductioning a high compression car and dragging/racing it all the time isn't that reliable...i would say trade your car in with your 10k and get something that is closer to your goal u are looking for...i dumped 10k+ easily in my mods naturally aspirated and i not even close to that...maybe hitting mid 13's but then again i don't drag my car...i take it to the twisty and turnies tracks

Everyone has already made that point several times. Ok. Everyone on planet Earth knows that dragging your S2000 is not the popular thing to do.

Everyone, please try to never post that more than once. If that's what he's going to do, by all means, let him!

I'm pretty sure that if you buy used and are very careful with what you get, you could have a semi-reliable 13 second car for under 10k (without labor). That said, it sort of defeats the purpose of buying the car in the first place.

If you have 10k to blow, I'd suggest dropping 1k into a late 80's Dodge Caravan Turbo, then put about 4-5k into it and you'll have a low 12-second minivan. I guarantee it will get more attention than anything you did to your stook, and I can't imagine a more satisfying feeling than dusting a car someone has dropped 40k into with a fake-wood-panel minivan.

well for what I agree with KM, tired of reading the same shit over and over again, someone said it ONCE ok fine, its as if evreyone has to say the same thing so people on the board know that they know their shit or something. and spedracrxx, i think he wants to hit the drag with a decent 1/4 time which is 13-12's in a very attractive car not a ghetto one. lol. you can get itb's, gears, ems, cams, headers, and exhaust for maybe just under 10k's if you do some research and hw on places and price matching etc. and im sure you can hit low 13's if not 12's with a setup like that. oh yea after you dyno tune the shit out of it. plus a Comptech blower will get you close or actually will get you there with 5k's and then spend the rest of the 5k's for some reliablitiy fixtures. i dont konw why ppl are makin it such a big deal.
