I would get another car instead of dumping 10k into the S. Get a Vette, or Supra.

you want a 12 second car? go buy a used 03/04 cobra. trust me, i just sold mine, and my car was a high 11's car.

all you need is a pulley, chip, K&N FIPK, & exhaust, and that'll put a smile on your face like never before.

the S2K is a wonderful car with great curve capabilities, just not a built drag car.

its going to be very difficult to have both requirements. Eventually parts do get damaged with having a 12 second car. Currently, I run 11.9 with stock internals on low boost (7-8psi) but there are signs of failures occuring with the differential and the transmission. So, all those factors must be added to the mix which attributes to the high price.

here's a small video of one run...sorry its not the fastest one

Wouldnt a blower with a different set of gears take the car into low 13s to 12s?

Get an Alaniz head package to get closer, 30-40 more hp vs an equivalent blown S2000 with no change in boost. With all the power, your weak point is gonna be the drivetrain, do not drag the car, always a launch from a rolling start.

Not necessarily, the blown motors running the centrifigal supercharger like we have develop their peak power and boost up top, there's more on the low end, but it's not going to be an immediate 100hp gain. That's why a lot of people have pursued/migrated to turbo kits on the S2000, sizeable boost and horsepower gains can be achieved as low 4,000 RPMs. Their peak hp number in a comparable turbo kit may not match the blower, but they can provide a broader spectrum of power.

I'm running the 4.77 gears with the Comptech blower kit and it helps, but it's not a night and day power gain.

You can get the low 13's high 12's under ten K but you can't keep them for long....it's a pit to maintain

That's all you need.
