Default walbro 255 question

I installed the pump today need to turn car on tomorrow and give it a final check before putting trunk interior back on as i've ran out of daylight.

On to my worries; Ive never done this type of mod before so I dont know if I may have cut the fuel hose that came with the pump a bit too short. Its maybe half an inch off from completely covering the top/long tube. Will this cause a leak?

Were you able to get the clamp on there so that its completely ON the hose and just past the rib on the pipe?

If so, you should be fine.
