Default Walbro 255 Pump

I will be going FI soon, but want to start getting ready for FI. I have gotten my Walbro 255 pump and am wondering if I can go ahead and instal that? Will the car still run fine? Really the pump doesn't change flow, it just has the ABILITY to flow more if need be so I should be ok? Thanks

It would pump at higher pressure and thus, flow more. However, your stock FPR should still do its job and keep the pressure as is. The excess just get shunted back to the tank.
