Vtech problem or somthing else?
This is what happened to my s2k.
I took my car to California Coach Collision Center to get some minor dents fixed. It was an insurance claim. My car was on there lot for 4 days and 3 nights. When I picked the care up I noticed that my s2k was not picking up speed as it used to. I checked the oil level and it was fine. Then I took it to the dealer to see what was wrong with it. They said that my clutch is going bad. I find that kind of odd since I only have 47K on it and most of it is freeway mileage. Any how a family fried / mechanic looked at my car and said that the clutch was fine. He thought that the Slave Cylinder might need some repair, since he saw that the clutch fluid had a blackish color to it. We looked at the Slave Cylinder and it was working properly. We cleared out the old bad clutch fluid and replaced it with new fluid. That did not fix the Problem.
So my question is this. What do you guys think happed while the collision center had my car? Is it possible that someone took my EPS chip and replaces it with a bad one. Is it possible that some how my vetch was disabled? Is that possible?
