Has anyone experienced the feeling that the power in VTEC is not comming one smoothly?
At the track last weekend and even powering onto the highway, in noticed that in 2nd and 3rd, the engine doesnt power smoothly from 6k to 9k.
It almost feels like the engine is having trouble getting gas. Although, there should have been plenty of fuel in the tank.
Has anyone else experience/remedied this?

If that doesn't work, then on to checking the plugs and gap. Then check the injectors (maybe try a bottle of cleaner) and then the fuel pressure. After that, things start to get complicated and possibly pricey.

My friend had almost the exact same problem on his S2, the only thing is it would happen every time he depressed the accelerator fully! When he took it to Honda they told him it was a clogged fuel filter from always running the car to empty. If your used to do doing that its a strong possibility that could be the problem. I have heard also that they should be changed every 20-25k, sounds right after all there only a $10-$15. Hope this helps!
