Yup mine is leaking too. I have a question i looked at mine its hard but not cracked If i give it a massage with an Happy ending with shin etsu grease would that work? Also there no risk of the grease killing the motor right?

Any updates on this? I'm starting to see oil in this area as well.

It sounds like this gasket is going to become an increasingly common problem, with no cheap solution.

My old 2002 used natural rubber for seals and belts. Darn things would harden with use, esp in smoggy conditions. So hard, that the seals would wear out the metal parts. Perfect looking seals --- worn out shafts or valve stems.
