When the high cams engage they allow more air and fuel into the cylinder which is the same pricipal of FI. The more air and fuel you can get into the cylinder=more power. When does the UR kit first hit full boost? Set your VTEC point there and see what you get. FYI, I'm NA with VTEC at 5700 and I have a smooth line through transition and keeps going up through redline.
VTEC has nothing to do with getting more fuel into the cylinders. It is ALL about the air. All of the fuel gets into the cylinder on EVERY cycle whether VTEC is engaged or not.

I don't have any FI experience, so all I can say is that you need to see where VTEC works best on the dyno. If I were Spoolin, I would start at 4500 RPMs and see what the power curve looks like.

here's my chart. the red is the baseline and blue is after the tuning. the blue was also dropped to engage at 5400 while the red line is stock engagement.

the real difference is in the torque, and i was amazed how much that increase really made on the pavement. i'm surprised no one else has posted torque lines to show where this truely helps.

Ok, but what good is all that fuel when you can't burn it.

What "2 settings" made no difference? There is DEFINITELY a difference between 5600 and 5900 RPMS! (look at the graph that I posted)
5400 and 5600 as you stated too
