Just some FYI, it's VTEC and not VTECH

Have you checked the oil level since the oil change? If not, I'd suggest you do so to ensure you have enough oil.

we need more deatails in order to help you.
couple of questions....

1. did you let the car warm up properly first before you tried to vtec?

2. did you mash on the gas when entering vtec..?because you need to in order for vtec to kick in.

3. have you done any types of modification to your car recently.

There's a whole trouble-shooting procedure in the shop manual. If it was oil pressure, I imagine you'd get a CEL. Maybe the solenoid is simply bad. I'd look over the test procedure and see if anything rings a bell.

you can test your vtec solenoid to see if it's working. i sent you a pm with a diagram. did you tighten your oil filter back on all the way? vtec usually wont kick in if your oil pressure is not high enough.

Do a search for "MAP Wack"
IIRC is is on top of UTH in the stickies.
(thanks to xviper)
That might solve your problem.

Let us know what you find.
