For the last few days my car seems to act different. VTEC is not pulling as hard as it use to and near the higher rpms the car doesnt have the same acceleration as before. I got my oil changed and the car is still the same. The oil before was a bit dirty and I waited awhile before I got it changed. No lights have come on and the car is not making any abnormal noises.

I've called up honda and they said it could many things, but two things that they said were vtec solenoid and valve adjustment. They said valve adjustment should be done every 15k miles. Some tuner shop said it could be my catalyc converter robbing power.

My car is a Prelude with about 40k miles.

Thanks for your help
