Maybe GPS was set on KPH

No, I think if GPS was set on KPH... true speed would be shown (112 KPH). Nothing around "40."

^^^^If GPS was showing 70 KPH then speedo showing about 43 MPH would be correct.

Please let us know about the ground bolt and what you find.

if that bolt is loose or ground not in place, the speedo will sit between 35-45mph, and just kind of hover there even if you're doing 80.

Haven't had a chance to get back there yet.

The speedo is def on MPH, NOT KM. Its so weird, VTEC/Speedo had no issues for 10 days or so when the engine was swapped. Then all of a sudden VTEC intermittently stopped working. First thing I checked was oil, and that was not only topped up, but very very clean (after roughly 600 miles).

The speedo sometimes is correct (based on GPS readings) and sometimes way low (20-30 mph low, while in 5th/6th gear).

I'll check and see if I can feel around there when I get off work tonight.

As always Billman, thank you so much for you knowledge and expertise. There's nothing worse than dropping $4000 to have a new engine/trans swapped in, and then all of a sudden your shit STILL not working 100%

20-30mph low.

Ground wire back of head near 100%.
