Default VTEC controller gasket replacemant

I'm about to replace my VTEC controller gasket. I have read the service manual and it doesn't look difficult, but I was wondering if there is anything I should be aware of prior to doing this? Thanks, James.

That was easy. Here are a few pics. I took the solenoid off too just to check it out.

What was the condition that prompted you to replace the VTEC gasket? Leak, mileage, etc...

Leak. I noticed oil in the plug and on the side of the engine when doing valve adjustment. It is only a $15 part and 10 min job.
